Vortex Black began with a name carrying significant family history. While preparing for my retirement from the United States Army, I played competitive baseball for a team called Vortex. During this pivotal era of change, I crossed paths with my future wife, Rose. She first encountered me in two distinct roles—wearing the uniform of our nation's military and the jersey of the Vortex ball club. These two uniforms symbolized essential elements of my character: duty, honor, teamwork, and the start of a life-long journey with Rose. Because the Vortex name was tied to our earliest days together, it evolved into something far greater than sport; it became a cornerstone of our family legacy. In launching Vortex Black, we sought to embed those same core principles. Our name pays tribute to the bond Rose and I share, while the "Black" designation represents the high-end fleet, polished presentation, and elite confidentiality our clients deserve.
